A Holy Moment of Chocolate
The lone piece of chocolate sat on the table next to his father’s book.
“What is that?”
“A Kiss. Do you want a kiss?”
“No, I want chocolate.”
“But this is a kiss.”
The little boy smiled and raised his face and pursed his lips.
His father did likewise and the faces traveled a distance until they met.
The father dutifully unwrapped the silver gift and gave it to his son.
Upon devouring the Hershey Kiss the boy buried his face his father’s chest.
And the Holy Chocolate Moment.
